    Football Manitoba: Shock After No Sanction for Thompson Flag

    A weekend flag football camp with an anti-suicide message run by former University of Manitoba Bisons football player, Kurtis Stolth, mostly for aboriginal children, has been denied sanction by Football Manitoba. As a result, Stolth can’t acquire the gear necessary from Football Canada to operate the camp. As well, the camp was intended to lead to the creation of a new football league in the North and now the league can’t go forward.

    Bel, Taylor, Busch, Milani, Haime Lead WHSFL to Senior Bowl

    Let’s do it one more time. Sebastian Bel, who will head to the University of Toronto; Drenin Busch, who has committed to the University of Manitoba; and Xander Tachinski, the pivot for the Potter Division champion St. Paul’s Crusaders, will battle at quarterback once again as they lead the 100 top graduating Grade 12 football players into the 2014 Senior Bowl.
